John C. Bolton began working as a manufacturers' representative in November 1971 with Everett Rule of E.E. Rule
& Associates. Mr. Rule spent over 45 years in the agency and electrical distributor business in Tennessee. He retired in
1985.
Taking that strong background as an example, John followed the same ideals of fairness, honesty and dependability in dealing with his
utility customers and principals in formatting his agency, JCB & Associates.
Expanding with lines that are compatible with each other, JCB & Associates has continued to
grow. At the urging of a major manufacturer he represented, John expanded JCB & Associates'
territory to cover parts of Kentucky.
Keeping the territory small has enabled JCB & Associates to provide a more personal touch for
customers and principals alike during the past 30 years.
Laura Baker, who has worked for JCB & Associates for eight years, handles the day to day activities of
processing quotations as well as orders and communicating with the various manufacturers, distributors, and utilities. |
